Fantasy Books for Speech & Language

Fantasy books are a magical way to pique your child's interest and spark creativity. There are many ways to target speech and language goals while enjoying fantasy books. I love picture books for younger students and reading through chapter books at home for older children. During reading, families can practice speech sounds, sequence events, answer comprehension questions, and name story elements. Following reading, engage in a fun craft to target following directions, using adjectives, and prepositions.
