Does your child’s mouth constantly hang open? Do you notice mouth breathing?
If so, your child likely has incorrect oral resting posture. When we are quiet and at rest, the tongue should be suctioned up to the roof of the mouth.

Tongue clicks
Place peanut butter or cookie butter on the roof of the mouth, and then drag back your tongue to clear it off
Practice holding up a sprinkle or grain of rice while reading or watching TV
